Fully Functional® Lunchtime Smoothie

This Lunchtime Smoothie is our absolute favorite smoothie that we make for our staff at The Center for Fully Functional® Health. This vitamin-rich smoothie is full of flavor including our delicious Fully Functional® Comprehensive Protein Powder alongside an energy-rich assortment of Bulletproof brand Brain Octane, Vanilla bean powder, cacao butter, and Fully Functional® Collagen Powder.

Did you know that the nutritional value of maca powder is similar to cereal grains such as rice and wheat? The average composition is 60-75% carbohydrates, 10-14% protein, 8.5% dietary fiber, and 2.2% fats. Maca is rich in the dietary minerals calcium and potassium (with low content of sodium) and contains the essential trace elements iron, iodine, copper, manganese, and zinc, as well as fatty acids including linolenic acid, palmitic acid, and oleic acids, and 19 amino acids.

The addition of maca powder along with our assortment of Fully Functional® and Bulletproof products makes this Lunchtime Smoothie an energizing and delicious addition to your diet. It is also gluten, dairy, sugar-free, and a favorite among friends, family, and staff when it comes to our anti-inflammatory diet recipes.

Replace Recipie Feat

Ingredients

  • 4 cups almond milk (organic, unsweetened) or unsweetened cashew, or coconut milk
  • 3 scoops Fully Functional® Comprehensive Protein Powder
  • 2 tbsp Brain Octane Bulletproof brand
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder organic, unsweetened
  • 1 whole acvocado
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean powder Bulletproof brand
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp Organic Acai powder
  • 4 cups Organic Power Greens or Spinach (other greens may be substituted)
  • 1 scoop Bulletproof brand Collagen Powder
  • 1.5 cups organic frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Cacao Butter Bulletproof brand
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds/hemp hearts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix everything together in your Vitamix (this is my preferred blender) and whip up this delicious treat for 4-6.
  2. Consider adding in 3 tbsp of organic hemp hearts and/or chia seeds.
