Ingredients

Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric

Chili

  • 2 lbs ground turkey, bison or venison
  • 1/2 cup chopped organic onion
  • 2 14.5 oz canned organic tomatoes
  • 1.5 cups chicken/bone or veggie broth
  • 1/2 cup choice of veggies* see recipe notes

Notes

*Choose one (or all) of the following. The quantity is not listed below since it can vary depending on how many different options you choose. You can start with ½ cup of whichever veggies you choose, but the more you add, the better:

  • Zucchini or yellow squash
  • Canned or fresh pumpkin or sweet potato
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Spinach, kale, or other greens
  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
