Enjoy this savory Blueberry Sausage recipe, made with ground turkey, ginger, and maple syrup. These sweet breakfast sausages are full of blueberry goodness and so easy to make! We’re calling them breakfast sausages, but they’d be amazing any time of day!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb organic ground turkey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, garlic, ginger, Italian seasoning, allspice, sea salt and maple syrup until well combined. Gently fold in blueberries.
  2. Form mixture into 8 patties.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add patties to pan and cook about 5 minutes per side, until cooked all the way through.
  4. Enjoy!
